Welcome to Pet Mite Detector, an app published by Growth Essentials, LLC (“Growth Essentials,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Delaware limited liability company. By downloading or using Pet Mite Detector (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. What the App Is

The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos of your pet for signs of possible mite infestation. It is a preliminary screening tool intended to help you decide whether to seek professional care.

2. Not Veterinary Advice

The Pet Mite Detector App is a support tool only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. The App does not provide medical diagnoses, does not replace examination by a licensed veterinarian, and does not guarantee accurate detection. AI analysis may produce false positives or miss actual health issues, and its accuracy depends on photo quality and lighting. Always consult a licensed veterinarian about your pet’s health.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not use the App to provide commercial veterinary services without appropriate professional licensing.

5. Subscriptions and Usage Limits

The App offers a limited number of free scans and premium subscriptions that enable additional scanning. Payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and is subject to that store’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage them in your store account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose;
• upload content that is harmful or infringes the rights of others;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract the App’s source code;
• use the App or its output to provide false or misleading medical or veterinary advice to others;
• circumvent scan limits or other technical restrictions.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and all materials in it are owned by Growth Essentials, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain rights to the photos you submit; you grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the analysis service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Artificial intelligence has inherent limitations; we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis result.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Growth Essentials, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including harm alleged to result from reliance on analysis results. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or if we discontinue the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
